The 2020 Academic Annual Meeting of Liver Disease Drug Research Committee of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Held in Guiyang

On October 31, 2020, sponsored by the China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, the "China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine Liver Disease Drug Research Professional Committee Academic Annual Meeting and Integrated Traditional Chinese and Western Medicine Diagnosis and Treatment of Chronic Liver Disease Training Course" was held in Guiyang Tianyi Haosheng Hotel.

The conference was held in the form of a combination of offline meetings and video playback. More than 200 experts from Chinese and Western medicine liver disease, infection and infectious diseases, and clinical related disciplines attended the conference.

Liu Zhanglin, Executive Vice President of China Association of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Li Xiuhui, Chairman of Hepatobiliary Branch of Chinese Medicine Association, Professor Gao Yueqiu, Shuguang Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Chang Zhanjie, Affiliated Hospital of Shaanxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Liu Sandu, Professor Sun Kewei, First Affiliated Hospital of Hunan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Liu Huabao, First Affiliated Hospital of Guangxi University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Tan Shanzhong, leaders and experts such as Zhao Wenxia from the First Affiliated Hospital of Henan University of Traditional Chinese Medicine, Professor Yu Youtao from the Fourth Medical Center of the PLA General Hospital, and Professor Zhang Wei from Longhua Hospital Affiliated to Shanghai University of Traditional Chinese Medicine attended the opening ceremony. The opening ceremony was presided over by Zhang Yinqiang, Secretary-General of the Liver Disease Drug Research Committee of the Chinese Medicine Association.

President Liu Zhanglin and Chairman Guo Peng delivered enthusiastic speeches at the opening ceremony.

Professor Yu Lecheng from the Department of Hepatology, Eastern Theater General Hospital gave a detailed introduction to the "Expert Consensus on Shuganning Injection in the Treatment of Acute and Chronic Liver Diseases (2020 Edition)" at this meeting. Professor Yu systematically combed and introduced the pharmacological research of Shuganning injection, clinical treatment of acute and chronic viral hepatitis, drug-induced hepatitis, alcoholic hepatitis, non-alcoholic steatohepatitis, cholestatic hepatitis, and the safety research of Shuganning injection.

Professor Wei Lai of Beijing Tsinghua Chang Gung Memorial Hospital and Professor Jia Jidong of Beijing Friendship Hospital affiliated to Capital Medical University were unable to attend the scene in person and shared the new progress in the field of liver disease with the experts attending the meeting in the form of video recording.
